Vanessa Denha Garmo is a communications strategist, content creator and coach with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Master’s degree in communications and is trained and certified in both leadership and life coaching.
Vanessa has an extensive background in both print and broadcast news as well as video production. Vanessa has produced several corporate videos for clients and marketing videos for local companies. Her company also produces television programs for Catholic media outlets around the globe.
As a coach and speaker, Vanessa conducts several workshops. She works one-on-one with clients on careers, leadership, business and organizations. She works with groups and teams. She is also a voice talent and her Christ-Centered Communications Messages can be heard daily on Ave Maria Catholic Radio AM 990 and seen on Catholic and other Christian programs around the globe. She is the host of the program Epiphany airing on Ave Maria Radio Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. and Sundays 3 p.m.

She co-founded the Chaldean News and served as a Co-Publisher and editor-in-chief of the for nearly 16 years. As Press Secretary to the Wayne County Executive Office, Vanessa handled media relations, speech writing, crisis communications as well as long-term/short-term public relations and marketing strategies. She was also the county’s main spokesperson.
